Our Story, Our Team, Our Commitment

Welcome to Treadwell Electrical. I’m Scott Walton, and my journey in the electrical trade began with a passion for precise work and a dedication to safety. After completing my City & Guilds qualification and a rigorous three-year apprenticeship, I proudly took the reins of Treadwell Electrical when my long-time boss retired.

While I may be 25 years old, the firm has a rich history and a well-earned reputation across East Kent for quality and reliability, a legacy I am committed to upholding and growing.

Our Expertise & Local Roots

Based right here in Herne Bay, Treadwell Electrical is a well-known and experienced firm. We’re deeply rooted in the local community, serving a wide area of East Kent, from Thanet and Sittingbourne all the way down to Canterbury. Our Napit approval (Registration number: 75552) is a testament to our adherence to the highest industry standards, giving you peace of mind that all our work is certified and compliant.

We work closely with a network of local building contractors, plumbers, and kitchen fitters, and are proud to count notable clients like The Wildwood Trust among our regular clients.

Our Team: Experience Meets the Future

At Treadwell Electrical, our strength lies in our blend of seasoned experience and a forward-looking approach. While I oversee every project to ensure our high standards are met, we also believe strongly in investing in the future of our trade. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to have Charlie, our dedicated apprentice, as a valued member of the team. Under my direct mentorship, Charlie is gaining invaluable hands-on experience, learning the "Treadwell way" firsthand.

This commitment to nurturing new talent means that the traditions of quality, safety, and exceptional customer service will continue to thrive for generations to come, ensuring our clients always benefit from a highly skilled and evolving workforce.

Our Comprehensive Services

We offer a full spectrum of electrical services for both the Domestic & Commercial sectors. For homes, this includes full and partial house rewires, consumer unit upgrades, LED lighting design for kitchens and bathrooms, outdoor and garden illumination, and essential safety certifications like EICR testing for landlords.

For businesses, we handle everything from three-phase power upgrades and full commercial installations to emergency lighting, data cabling, and EV charger installations. We're also available for Emergency Call Outs 24/7, because we know electrical issues don't always keep office hours.

Our Commitment: Going The Extra Mile

What truly sets Treadwell Electrical apart is our unwavering commitment to customer service and satisfaction. I’m genuinely amazed to hear of tradesmen not turning up or displaying a poor attitude; that’s simply not how we operate. I personally go the extra mile to ensure every client is not just satisfied, but delighted with our work. This belief is reflected in the strong repeat business we receive and our growing collection of five-star Google reviews. We believe in transparent communication, tidy workmanship, and delivering every project on time and within budget.

When you choose Treadwell Electrical, you’re choosing a team dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and outstanding electrical solutions for your home or business, now and for the future.
